Overview
Breaching Technologies, Inc. (“BTI,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through this website, how we use and share it, and the choices you have. It applies to breachingtechnologies.com and any BTI ordering or account services offered through it.
By using this site, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.
Information we collect
We collect information you provide directly to us, including:
- Contact and quote requests — your name, organization, email address, phone number, and the contents of any message or quote you submit.
- Order and account information — if you create an account or place an order, the billing, shipping, organization, and purchase details needed to process and fulfill it.
- Quote list — the products you add to a quote are stored locally in your own browser (localStorage) and are not sent to us until you submit the quote.
We also automatically collect standard technical information when you visit, such as your IP address, browser type, device information, and pages viewed, through our hosting and server logs.
How we use your information
We use the information we collect to:
- Respond to your inquiries and prepare and deliver price quotes;
- Process, fulfill, invoice, and provide support for orders;
- Operate, maintain, secure, and improve the website and our services;
- Comply with legal, tax, accounting, and regulatory obligations.
How we share your information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers who process it on our behalf, and only as needed to provide our services:
- Vercel — website and application hosting.
- Resend — delivery of contact-form and quote-request emails.
- Supabase — secure database for accounts and orders.
- Intuit QuickBooks Online — accounting, invoicing, and payment records (see below).
- Payment processors — to handle payments where applicable.
We may also disclose information when required by law, to enforce our agreements, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of BTI, our customers, or others.
QuickBooks Online integration
BTI uses Intuit QuickBooks Online to manage invoicing, payments, and accounting. When you place an order or are invoiced, we share the information necessary to create and reconcile those records — such as your name or organization, contact details, and the products, quantities, and amounts on your order — with QuickBooks Online.
BTI authorizes this connection through Intuit’s OAuth process. The access credentials for that connection are encrypted at rest and are used only by BTI’s server-side systems. Information shared with Intuit is also governed by Intuit’s own privacy policy.
Cookies and local storage
We use a minimal amount of browser storage to make the site work — for example, keeping your in-progress quote list in your browser. We do not use third-party advertising trackers. You can clear this data at any time through your browser settings.
Data security
We use industry-standard safeguards to protect your information, including encryption in transit (HTTPS) and encryption at rest for sensitive credentials. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information and limit access to it.
Data retention
We retain your information for as long as needed to provide our services and to satisfy legal, tax, and accounting requirements. Order and invoicing records may be retained longer where required by law.
Your choices
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of the personal information you have provided to us by contacting us at the address below. We will respond consistent with applicable law. Some records, such as completed transactions, may need to be retained for legal and accounting purposes.
Children’s privacy
This site is intended for business and professional use and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “last updated” date above. Your continued use of the site after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
